The IIT Delhi Endowment Fund addresses a key imbalance in funding models across leading educational institutions. The well established endowment funds of leading US colleges provide up to 30% of their operating expenditure, allowing long term planning, increased quality, access and capacity. And crucially in the fastest moving sectors, the ability to take greater risks by backing innovative projects.
