Vaibhav Khandelwal received his Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 2014. He is Co-founder & Chief Technology Officer of Shadowfax, a premier E-commerce service provider and hyperlocal company, boasting a robust distribution network that stretches across 2,500+ cities and 18,000+ pin codes with 10,000+ employees.
Under his leadership, Shadowfax has been able to establish a strong identity for itself by positively disrupting the last-mile delivery ecosystem. Recently, under his headship, Shadowfax launched SF Maps to revolutionize address intelligence for seamless deliveries. SF Maps represents a significant leap forward in Shadowfax’s mission to optimize the delivery speed and elevate customer experience while solving fundamental problems in last-mile logistics.
Delivering 2 Million packages daily, Shadowfax provides unparalleled services to a vast network of customers with industry-leading Turnaround Time (TAT) at highly competitive prices. Being India's leading last-mile logistics player, the platform has an exceptional crowdsourcing network comprising 125,000 monthly active delivery partners; 3.5 million registered users. With its consistent track record of trust, reliability, and a customer-centric approach, it has become the preferred logistics partner for major E-commerce and Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) players in the country including Amazon, Flipkart, Meesho, Ajio, Swiggy, Zomato, 1Mg, Big Basket, Myntra, McDonalds, Samsung, Unilever, etc. In their realm of operations- reverse logistics, forward logistics, slot delivery, hyperlocal delivery, and critical logistics stand as focus areas.
Prior to founding Shadowfax, he had research experience in the field of Machine Learning and Human Computer Interactions (HCI). His work on social learning networks during his internship at Adobe led to filing a patent.
Vaibhav has earned many accolades for his work which include Forbes 30 Under 30 and Entrepreneurs India’s 35 Under 35. With his unwavering support and guidance, Shadowfax has received multiple awards & recognition such as the most prestigious winner of Innovation in Transport Tech & 10th Aegis Graham Bell Awards 2020.
