The IIT Delhi Library System comprises a Central Library and 18 departmental libraries that collectively support the teaching, research, and extension programs of the Institute. The Central Library houses a total collection of over three lakh documents, including books, theses, journals, video cassettes, and compact discs in the fields of science, engineering, humanities, literature, and management. To borrow books, alumni need to make a security deposit of Rs. 5000.

Guesthouses
The institute runs two Guest Houses (Amaltas & Gulmohar) with over 50 rooms to provide accommodation for faculty members of other IITs, educational institutions, student guardians, and outstation alumni. Alumni can avail accommodation in Gulmohar Guest House at Rs 1500/day for a single room (with AC) and Rs 1800/day for a double room (with AC).
