PROFESSOR SHILPI SHARMA - BOARD MEMBER
Prof. Shilpi Sharma is a Professor at the Department of Biochemical Engineering and Biotechnology. She is also the Associate Dean Academics (Outreach & New Initiatives) at IIT Delhi.
With a Ph.D. in Natural Sciences from Ludwig Maximilian University, Germany, Prof. Sharma joined IIT Delhi in 2008. Her research in plant–microbiome interactions and rhizosphere engineering has earned her over 100 publications, a patent, and national awards including the Tata Transformation Prize for pioneering work in sustainable agriculture.
