GAUTAM KUMRA - DIRECTOR
Gautam Kumra is the managing partner of McKinsey’s India office. He founded the McKinsey Leadership Institute in India, which focuses on developing leaders who can deliver transformational change.
Gautam has a long-standing passion for helping CEOs become effective leaders, especially during transitions. In addition, he has helped several major Indian companies shape their global agendas. He also led McKinsey’s thinking and research on performance transformation over many years, applying best practices and learnings from different sectors to achieve tangible outcomes in today’s ever-changing context. Gautam is a member of McKinsey’s global board of directors and serves on the global advisory council for the Lincoln Center in New York. He holds a BTech in chemical engineering from IIT Delhi, and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad.
