The batch of 1966 had endowed a Chair at IIT Delhi.
The establishment of the Chair is expected to
Promote Excellence & leadership in teaching, research & development in the field of Science, Engineering, Management, Humanities or Social Sciences.
To facilitate wider & deeper interaction between industry and IIT Delhi faculty and students in general (and the incumbent appointed against the Chair, in particular)
