Dear Visionaries from the IIT Delhi Class of 1991

Greetings On behalf of the Office of Alumni Relations, IIT Delhi, and the IIT Delhi Endowment Fund!

The reunion is also an occasion where, as proud alumni of this esteemed institution, the alumni from the batch can give back to the institution and support its activities. Towards that goal, we have created this special initiative to raise funds that would go towards supporting the vibrant student community, innovation & spirit of Entrepreneurship at Campus. This is poised to be the largest batch fundraiser in the Institute's history.

While we finalize the domain & details for the administration of the Endowed Corpus, we are initiating the process of fundraising on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Reunion of the 1991 Batch.

This is a momentous occasion for the entire 1991 batch as we preserve the legacy of the batch through the most impactful batch fundraiser in the history of IIT Delhi.

Tax Benefits To Donors

Every member who contributes to the batch fund would, in turn, be eligible for the following tax benefits:

Donations made in Indian currency:

100% tax deduction: Indian donors having business income can claim deductions u/s 35 of the Income Tax Act, while other Indian donors can claim deductions u/s 80GGA, based on tax certificate issued by IIT Delhi.
For US residents:

Donations made via IIT Delhi Endowment Fund US, which is a 501(c)(3) organization, are generally tax-deductible under US tax law.
For UK residents:

UK taxpayers can claim tax relief for their donation made via IITUK, a registered charity. Also they can claim Gift Aid, topping the donation by up to 25%.
