Dear Visionaries from the IIT Delhi Class of 1998,
Greetings On behalf of the Office of Alumni Relations, IIT Delhi, and the IIT Delhi Endowment Fund!
The reunion is also an occasion where, as proud alumni of this esteemed institution, the alumni from the batch can give back to the institution and support its activities. Towards that goal, we have created this special initiative to raise funds that would go towards supporting the vibrant student community, innovation & spirit of Entrepreneurship at Campus. This is poised to be the largest batch fundraiser in the Institute’s history.
While we finalize the domain & details for the administration of the Endowed Corpus, we are initiating the process of fundraising on the occasion of the Silver Jubilee Reunion of the 1998 Batch.
This is a momentous occasion for the entire 1998 batch as we preserve the legacy of the batch through the most impactful batch fundraiser in the history of IIT Delhi.
Every member who contributes to the batch fund would, in turn, be eligible for the following tax benefits.
Donations made in Indian currency: Donations made to IIT Delhi are eligible for 100% tax deductible without any limit under section 80G(2) (a) (iiif) of the Indian Income Tax Act (under old Tax Regime).
Donations made via the IIT Delhi Endowment Fund (US) via 501(c)(3) organization, are tax-deductible under US tax law. IIT Delhi’s US Federal Tax ID (EID No.) is 84-5155291.
We encourage each member of the Class Of 1998 to donate generously and avail the corresponding tax benefits as a result of the same.
With Regards,
IIT Delhi Alumni Relations & IIT Delhi Endowment Fund
