Arvind Jain is the co-founder and CEO of Glean, a workplace search and knowledge management company that makes it easy for people to find the information they need to be more productive and happier at work.
Prior to Glean, Arvind co-founded and led R&D at Rubrik, one of the fastest-growing companies in cloud data management. Arvind also spent over a decade at Google as a Distinguished Engineer, where he led teams in Google’s Search, Maps, and YouTube products. He set up and led Google’s India operations and helped start the MapMaker project there – an effort to map the entire world online using contributions from the user community— which has been used to map 190 countries, including India. Earlier in his career, Arvind held leadership positions at Riverbed, Akamai, and Microsoft. As an inventor, Arvind also holds 28 patents.
Arvind earned his BTech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and his Masters in Computer Science from the University of Washington.
In honouring Mr. Arvind Jain, IIT Delhi recognizes his entrepreneurial excellence. Through his achievements, Mr. Jain has brought glory to the name of the Institute.
