Ashutosh Garg is the CEO and Co-Founder of Eightfold.ai, a groundbreaking unicorn startup revolutionizing talent intelligence through the power of AI and generative AI. Since launching Eightfold.ai in 2016, he has driven its global expansion, with the platform now serving clients in over 100 countries. Leveraging advanced AI technologies, Eightfold.ai is transforming the employment landscape, trusted by high-profile entities such as the US Department of Defense and the State of New York.
Ashutosh holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi, and a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He is a prolific inventor with over 50 patents, a respected researcher with more than 35 peer-reviewed publications, three books, and numerous awards, and a serial entrepreneur.
Prior to Eightfold.ai, Ashutosh co-founded BloomReach, where he served as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). BloomReach, another unicorn, leverages AI to enhance digital experiences for major enterprises worldwide. His innovative approach has been instrumental in creating thousands of job opportunities, driven by his deep understanding of AI's potential.
His career includes pivotal roles at Google, where he worked on critical projects related to search and machine learning infrastructure, and at IBM Research, focusing on machine learning and information retrieval. Ashutosh’s extensive experience spans academic research, industry applications, and entrepreneurial ventures, establishing him as a visionary leader in AI.
In 2021, the US State Department recognized him as one of the 10 immigrant founders who have created two unicorns, underscoring his exceptional contributions to the tech industry and his impact on the global workforce.
