Mr. Sanjeev Kalhan received his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi in 1983 and thereafter his Post Graduate Diploma (MBA) from IIM Kolkata.
Mr. Sanjeev Kalhan is currently the Managing Director and CEO of M/s Communication Media Products (I) Pvt. Ltd.
Mr. Sanjeev Kalhan has promoted two companies M/s Ultimate Telesystems (P) Ltd., and M/s. Communication Media Products (I) Pvt. Ltd. M/s. Ultimate Telesystems was involved in the distribution of Telecom and Office Automation Products. M/s. Communication Media Products is into providing State of the Art Audio Visual Technology Solutions for the Enterprise and Education verticals. His team designs, builds, installs and supports these technology solutions for clients all over India.
Mr. Sanjeev Kalhan is on the Indian Advisory Committee of the InfoComm, a Global Non-Profit organization which has members from the manufacturers, users, and consultants’ community. It evolves standards and best practices for the Audio Visual Industry which are universally adopted and followed by the user organizations.
Mr. Sanjeev Kalhan’s team has recently designed and guided the implementation of the complete Audio Visual Solution required for the Lecture Theatres and the Auditoriums in the new Lecture Hall Complex of IIT Delhi. His team discussed the actual requirements with the Professors and designed the solution from scratch using state of the Art technology products to create an experience which is comparable to best of Global Universities and Learning Centres.
Mr. Sanjeev Kalhan has also been a founding member of Dramatech, an amateur Theatre Group formed by a group of IITD Alumni in the year 1983. The group is involved in producing Amateur Plays and has till date produced and staged more than 40 plays over the last 33 years.
In honouring Mr. Sanjeev Kalhan, IIT Delhi recognizes the significant efforts and contributions made by him for the development and progress of the Institute.
