Sachin Bansal
Mr. Sachin Bansal received his Bachelor of Technology degree in Computer Science & Engineering from IIT Delhi in 2005. Mr. Sachin Bansal is the Executive Chairman and Co-Founder of Flipkart, which is India’s largest e-commerce marketplace with over 60% share of mobile commerce in India. Flipkart has been ranked by Wall Street Journal among the 10 most valuable startups in the world.
Mr. Sachin Bansal led Flipkart as a CEO from its inception in 2007 till 2015 and took over as the Executive Chairman in the year 2016. He is actively involved in leading and mentoring the startup and internet ecosystem in India and is an angel investor in several technology startups.
In 2013, Mr. Sachin Bansal was recognised as ‘The Entrepreneur of the Year’ in the Economic Times Award for Corporate Excellence. He was also awarded the ‘NDTV Indian of the Year award’ in the year 2016.
