Jassi is a successful serial entrepreneur and a highly regarded data scientist in the field of Analytics and AI. In 2007, he founded marketRx, a Life Science focused Analytics company, which was acquired in 2007. Since 2010, Jassi has served as Founder, President & CEO of Axtria, the leading AI software company that powers Life Science companies to improve patients’ lives by bringing innovative medicines and medical devices to markets in over 100 countries.
Jassi has been recognised and awarded for his contributions as an entrepreneur and industry leader. He is a two-time winner of E&Y Entrepreneur of the Year in New Jersey. Pharmaceutical Management Science Association (PMSA) awarded him the prestigious lifetime achievement award for his tremendous contributions to the Life Sciences industry. PharmaVOICE 100 recognised Jassi as one of the 100 most influential people in the life sciences industry. Jassi is a mentor and angel investor to several companies and is currently a member of the Second District Advisory Council of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York.
Jassi received his B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from IIT Delhi (1990), M.S. in Industrial Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso (1992), was a Doctoral candidate (ABD) in Operations Research at Texas A&M University (1995), and graduated from Owners President Program (OPM) from Harvard Business School (2017).
