08:55 hrs : Chairperson, Board of Governors arrives
09:00 hrs : Chief Guest arrives, received by the Chairperson BoG, Director, Registrar
09:05 hrs : Supply of robes to the Chief Guest, Chairperson BoG, Director
09:15 hrs : Registrar invites the Chief Guest, Chairperson BoG, Director to proceed
09:17 hrs : Members of the Senate participating in the Academic Procession are presented to the Chief Guest
09:23 hrs : Academic Procession proceeds to the Dogra Hall. The procession will consist of the Chief Guest, the Chairperson BoG, the Director and the Senators. The Registrar will lead the procession. (The students and the guests will stand up when the procession enters the Dogra Hall and will remain standing till the procession culminates on the dais)
09:28 hrs : National Song
09:30 hrs : Director requests the Chairperson BoG to declare the Convocation open
09:31 hrs : The Convocation is declared open by the Chairperson BoG
09:33 hrs : Director’s Report 09:54 hrs : Address by the Chairperson BoG
10:10 hrs : Convocation Address by the Chief Guest
10:31 hrs : Presentation of Distinguished Alumni Awards by the Chairperson BoG
11:04 hrs : Pronouncement of Award of Degrees 11:09 hrs : Scroll signing by the Chairperson BoG
11:12 hrs : Oath-taking by the graduating students
11:15 hrs : Presentation of Institute Medals
11:41 hrs : Director requests the Chairperson BoG to declare the Convocation closed
11:43 hrs : The Convocation is declared closed by the Chairperson BoG
11:44 hrs : National Anthem
11:46 hrs : Academic Procession departs
