The IIT Delhi campus came alive on December 14-15, 2024, as the Batch of 1990 gathered to celebrate their 35th Pearl Reunion. This milestone event was a heartwarming journey down memory lane, filled with reconnections, nostalgia, and the unmistakable joy of returning "home" to IIT Delhi.
The celebrations were kicked off with the first part of the reunion on December 14th, as part of the Institute Day festivities. Alumni were warmly welcomed back to their alma mater, where they had the opportunity to interact with the institute's leadership and hear about its latest achievements and developments.
The campus tour was a highlight, sparking vivid memories as alumni revisited their hostels, departments, and favorite haunts from student days. Familiar sights brought back a flood of cherished memories, while the new additions to the campus showcased the institute's remarkable growth.
A delightful lunch hosted by the Institute provided the perfect setting for reconnecting and reminiscing. Conversations flowed as stories of the past mingled with updates from the present, rekindling bonds and reinforcing the shared pride of being part of the IIT Delhi family.
The second day of the reunion continued the festivities, with more opportunities to engage and celebrate the legacy of the Batch of 1990. It was truly a homecoming, reminding everyone that while years may pass, the ties to IIT Delhi remain as strong as ever.
