Shraman Foundation Scholarship

The Shraman Foundation has offered scholarships to 64 bright and indigent students. The award ceremony was organized on 15 June 2022 at IIT Delhi. The scholarships were presented to the students by Dr. Vinay Jain, founder of Shraman Foundation. Dr. Jain, is a medical oncologist based in USA and has supported thousands of students in India and USA to pursue their educational aspirations..

Generous Contribution by Alumnus Mr. Navin Chadha

Mr. Navin Chaddha (Electrical Engineering, 1992 Batch), Managing Director, Mayfield Fund has generously contributed to IIT Delhi Endowment for a pioneering student support language program.
While expressing his thoughts Mr. Chaddha said, “I am a big believer in the power of education to transform lives. It’s crucial to ensure that students of all backgrounds are equipped with the skills and knowledge they need to succeed at IIT, including learning and mastering English, so they can grow into the leaders of tomorrow”.

While highlighting the benefits of this new program being introduced by IIT Delhi, Prof. Reetika Khera, Associate Dean, Student Affairs (Welfare) said, “We are excited that we can provide this support to our students and this will benefit many bright students who fall behind academically, and socially due to not being fluent in English”.
