IIT Delhi Improves its International Rankings

In the recent QS World University Rankings 2023, IIT Delhi has improved its ranking from 185 to 174. In Engineering and Technology, it is presently ranked 72 in the world. This improvement is also due to improvement in certain metrics which include Academic Reputation and Employer Reputation. In NIRF national rankings IIT Delhi stands at Number 2 in Engineering category. India Today has consistently ranked IIT Delhi as number 1 institute in the country in Engineering.

IIT Delhi alumni have done very well in entrepreneurial space too. About one quarter of 100 unicorns in India were founded and co-founded by IIT Delhi alumni. IIT Delhi is also ranked as leading undergraduate institute that schooled 22 future Unicorn co-founders in recent Private Wealth Hurun India Future Unicorn India 2022.
