German Federal Minister of Defence and the US Ambassador to India visit IIT Delhi

US Ambassador to India, Mr. Eric Garcetti, visited IIT Delhi on June 28 and delivered a talk titled "Peace, Prosperity, Planet and People – A New Chapter in the US-India Relationship". The Indian dream and the American dream are two sides of the same coin, and the two countries should now focus on peace, prosperity, planet and people, he said. The US Ambassador also underlined the importance of expanding India-US partnerships in the area of critical and emerging technologies.

German Federal Minister of Defence, Mr Boris Pistorius, attended an event of Innovations for Defence Excellence (iDEX) start-ups at Research & Innovation Park, IIT Delhi on June 06, 2023. Partner Incubator of iDEX, FITT-IIT Delhi, co-hosted the event. Presentation of breakthrough technologies by Indian start-ups on augmented reality/virtual reality, energy systems, smart drones and anti-drone systems, space propulsion systems and other allied technologies were made.
