MoU for IIT Delhi-Abu Dhabi Campus Signed

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Abu Dhabi Department of Education and Knowledge (ADEK) and the Ministry of Education, Government of India, on July 15, 2023, to set up its international campus in Abu Dhabi.

The MoU was signed in the presence of Hon’ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi and His Excellency Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.

IIT Delhi - Abu Dhabi will be a research centric campus of IIT Delhi which will offer degrees at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral level, and will contribute to the research and academic eco-system of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.

IIT Delhi - Abu Dhabi is expected to offer various programs covering Energy and Sustainability, Artificial Intelligence, Computer Science and Engineering, Healthcare, Mathematics and Computing and other engineering, sciences and humanities disciplines.

IIT Delhi was identified for this by the Ministry of Education after an agreement was signed between the top leadership of both countries.
