IIT Delhi Recognised as “GATI Achiever” for Promoting Women in STEM

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has been recognised by the Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India, for its commitment to promoting gender equity in STEM with the prestigious title of "GATI Achiever" for the Gender Advancement for Transforming Institutions (GATI) programme.

The GATI pilot programme launched by the DST, in partnership with the British Council, aimed to nudge higher education and research institutions to ensure gender equality in STEM. The "GATI Achiever" award appreciates IIT Delhi’s outstanding contributions to enhancing women’s participation and career advancement in STEM education and research.
