IIT Delhi hosts 54th Annual Convocation

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi hosted its 54th Annual Convocation ceremony. The convocation ceremony was attended by Dr. R. Chidambaram, Chairperson, Board of Governors, IIT Delhi; Prof. Rangan Banerjee, Director; Senators; faculty members; staff; students; and their parents.

Dr. Gagandeep Kang, an eminent virologist and Director, Enterics, Diagnostics, Genomics and Epidemiology-Global Health, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, USA, was the chief guest at the Convocation.

2357 students graduated and received their diplomas and degrees at the Dogra Hall on the IIT Delhi campus. The distinguished alumni awards were also presented to some of the very prominent alumni who’ve brought glory to the name of the institute.
