In response to India's increasing life expectancy and the subsequent rise in the elderly population, Antara, a leading provider of lifestyle and lifecare solutions for seniors and a subsidiary of the $4 billion Max Group, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with IIT Delhi.
The collaboration will involve knowledge exchange, research consultancy, Entrepreneurship Development Programs (EDPs), and the sharing of laboratory resources. Its primary focus is on developing inclusive design solutions to improve safety, independence, cognition, and communication for the elderly. One notable project under this initiative is the development of a specially designed walking aid tailored to the needs of seniors.
