AFMS and IIT Delhi Sign MoU for Collaborative Research and Training
The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi to promote collaborative research and training. Lt Gen Daljit Singh, Director General of AFMS, and Prof Rangan Banerjee, Director of IIT Delhi, signed the agreement.
The MoU aims to undertake research and innovation to develop new medical devices and address health issues faced by soldiers serving in various terrains. The collaboration will leverage IIT Delhi's robust biomedical research ecosystem to explore technical solutions for the diverse medical challenges within the Armed Forces, including rehabilitation for amputees.
