IIT Delhi Shines in 2025 QS Sustainability Rankings

The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi has secured a prestigious spot among the world’s top 100 institutions for environmental impact in the recently released 2025 QS Sustainability Rankings. This remarkable achievement highlights IIT Delhi's commitment to sustainability and its leadership in driving impactful environmental initiatives.

IIT Kanpur joined IIT Delhi in this top-tier ranking, while the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, earned a coveted position among the world’s top 50 institutions for environment education.

Among the 78 Indian universities included in the 2025 QS Sustainability Rankings, 34 improved their standings, reflecting the growing strength of India’s higher education ecosystem in sustainability initiatives, as noted by Ben Sowter, Vice President of QS.
