IHFC of IIT Delhi Launches Co-Innovation Centres Across India to Foster Innovation and Entrepreneurship
The Technology Innovation Hub (TIH) of IIT Delhi, IHFC, has embarked on a transformative initiative to establish Co-Innovation Centres (CiC) in collaboration with ten prestigious institutes across India. This ambitious project aims to nurture a culture of innovation, technology development, and entrepreneurship among India’s youth.
On January 24, 2025, the first CiC was inaugurated in Bengaluru at PES University. This marks the beginning of a nationwide network of Co-Innovation Centres.
Other premier institutes ready for the immediate launch of their CiCs include:
- Indian Institute of Engineering Science and Technology (IIEST), Shibpur, Kolkata
- Thapar Institute, Patiala
- SRM University of Science and Technology, Chennai
- Indian Institute of Technology Gandhinagar
These institutes represent a diverse geographical and academic spectrum, underscoring the wide-reaching impact of this initiative.
