56th Convocation Celebration at IIT Delhi

IIT Delhi's 56th Convocation ceremony will take place on August 2, 2025. Dr. Tessy Thomas, a former DRDO director and prominent scientist known as the "Missile Woman of India", will be the chief guest.

According to IIT Delhi Director Prof. Rangan Banerjee, more than 2,750 students will graduate, including a record 530 PhDs and over 35 international students. This year will also see the first graduating class from several new programs, including the undergraduate B.Tech in Energy Engineering and a few postgraduate courses.
