Snehprabha Kothari Aspiration and Learning Excellence Award (SKALE)
IIT Delhi has established the Snehprabha Kothari Aspiration and Learning Excellence (SKALE) Award, created through the generous contribution of Nidhi and Prakhar Bansal, in honor of their mother, Snehprabha Kothari. Remembered for her love, optimism, and enduring support, this award celebrates her values of growth, balance, and opportunity by empowering young women scholars of IIT Delhi.
The merit-based award will support second-year undergraduate girls residing in Kailash Hostel, recognizing academic excellence, perseverance, and aspirations to make a positive difference in their communities. Valued at ₹1 lakh annually, the SKALE Award will be conferred from the academic year 2025-26 onward during a hostel or departmental event, inspiring and motivating recipients to “scale” new heights in their personal and professional journeys.
