G.H. Raisoni Cash Award for Excellence in Computer Science
IIT Delhi has instituted the G.H. Raisoni Cash Award for Excellence, supported by Ankush Shivshankar Sanstha of Raisoni Education, to recognize top-performing undergraduates in Computer Science Engineering. Beginning with the graduating class of 2025-26, this prestigious award will be conferred annually for 10 years to the most meritorious graduating student from the department, based on the highest CGPA.
The award carries a cash prize of ₹5,00,000, making it one of the most significant recognitions for academic excellence within the institute. To support the award, the donor will contribute ₹5,50,000 each year, with provisions for future enhancement to benefit more students. The award will be presented during the departmental convocation ceremony.
