Indian Institute of Technology Delhi presented Faculty Research Awards to its faculty members on its Foundation Day on Jan 27, 2021.

Sulochana & Colonel A Krishnaswami VrC VSM Lifetime Research Award (endowed by K. Ananth Krishnan)

Prof. Anurag Sharma, Physics: For his work in the development of efficient simulation methods of optical wave propagation through guided components and for ray tracing for design of gradient- index-optical systems.

Prof. Bodh Raj Mehta, Physics: For his contributions towards exploring the nature of few atom thick 2D semiconductor interfaces; understands and utilizing nano particles size dependent properties for device improvement

Prof P.C.P. Bhatt Basic Research Award (endowed by K. Ananth Krishnan)

Prof. Siddharth Pandey, Chemistry: For his work in the area of understanding complex fluidic systems, such as, ionic liquid- and deep eutectic solvent-based systems.

Prof K.L. Chopra Applied Research Award (endowed by K. Ananth Krishnan)

Prof. K. K. Pant, Chemical Engineering: For his research on Valorisation of  electronic and plastic waste,  Green catalytic processes for  chemicals & fuel production, natural gas conversion to olefins and aromatics, syngas to methanol and DME production.

Mrs Veena Arora Early Career Research Award (endowed by Neeraj Arora)

Prof. Amit Gupta, Mechanical Engineering: For his research in Energy storage, Microfluidics and flapping wing Aerodynamic.

Prof. Hemant Kumar Kashyap, Chemistry: For his research involving multi-scale molecular dynamics (MD) simulations to model novel battery electrolytes and the development of models that better reproduce the real systems.

Prof. Leena Nebhani, Materials Science and Engineering: For her research focused on establishing highly innovative protocols for macromolecular surface engineering via combination of orthogonal and controlled radical polymerization techniques.

Prof. Mohd. Ali Haider, Chemical Engineering: For his work in the Design of Catalyst Materials and Sustainable Processes to Produce Renewable Energy and Chemicals.
