Eligibility Criteria
The Award objective is to encourage UG student to take up socially relevant projects during their summer vacations. UG students from the 5th semester onwards of any program. Anyone can apply; however some weightage would be given to the student involved in NRCVEE. A single student or a group of two students can submit their project proposal for consideration. The deadline for submission will be the beginning of the Even semester(January).
Selection Criteria
"A committee chaired by Head of NRCVEE with two faculty members nominated by CRC of NRCVEE as members will select the awardee. The awardee will conduct the project during the summer months (May-July) and submit their report at the beginning of the even semester (August) for the review and approval of the award committee. If needed, the project may be extended up to the end of September."
Award Amount and number
Upon approval of the report, the awardees will share an honorarium of Rs. 25,000/-. If expenses are incurred in the project, the honorarium would be the net amount shared between the students executing the project.
