Eligibiltiy criterion : 

Lecture Award and a citation shall be given to a person working in the area of Thin Films/Nano-Materials/Quantum Materials towards design and realization of novel devices/applications that have potential to serve society at large.

Maximum of two such awards, including one to woman researcher, would be given on the merit and novelty of the work.

Selection criterion :

(1) The criteria for the award shall be:-
Recipient should be in his/her mid-career, working as Assistant Prof./Associate Prof./ Professor or equivalent position in industry.

(2) Recipient should be directly responsible for the conceptualization and the planning of the research activity along with his/her doctoral research students and/or PDF researchers, if any.

(3) The research-work for the realization of the idea should have been primarily done by the recipient in India.
