Eligibility Criteria

The award will recognize exceptional doctoral thesis at CBME focusing on translational efforts as evidenced by the public record of the scholar, international and national patents and industrial engagement preferably related to AI in medicine or biomedical data science, focusing on projects that aim to translate AI tools into clinical practice. 
1. Nominations for Manrai awardees will be invited once per year. 
2. PhD students at CBME who have defended their thesis will be eligible for self-nomination. 
3. The nominations will be forwarded to the Steering Committee after initial screening by the Center Research Committee (CRC). 
4. The Steering Committee will decide on the award based on the high-impact publication records, patents, translational impact, industry-academia interaction and technology transfer.

Selection Criteria

Selection of the Manrai award will be administered by the Manrai Fellowship Steering Committee constituted as per MOU.

Rs. 50,000/- per award to two awards per year
